The best part of my job is that I get the chance to capture truly special moments for my couples. When Catherine from North Corner Haven reached out to me about photographing a proposal for Charles and Alli at North Corner Haven, I was ecstatic! Charles had been putting a TON of thought into how to make their engagement really special and I think he nailed it, honestly. I’m so excited for you to see their proposal and hear the whole story!
North Corner Haven Proposal
The entire day was planned under the guise of a 50th birthday party for Charles’ mom. That made it easy to get their friends and family together without raising Alli’s suspicion. Everything was gorgeous! They had the most stunning details around North Corner Haven and even hired the Bubbles and Brew Mobile Bar to help the celebration. The party got started and then Charles’ dad stood up to say a few words. It was then that he shared it wasn’t actually a birthday party, but a surprise proposal that they’d been planning.
At that point, Charles had gotten Alli over to the gardens and began to get down on one knee. She was in shock and couldn’t stop smiling! She obviously said yes and the real party began!!! I stole Charles and Alli away for a little while to walk through the vines and explore the property to capture some “just engaged” photos. The smiles on their faces say it all!!
