I’m so excited to have so many branding sessions on the blog right now! I absolutely love connecting with other business owners and helping them create imagery to grow their brand online. Emily and Brooke are no different. They’re two incredible hair and makeup artists here in Charlotte, NC. When they reached out about updating their branding photos, I couldn’t wait for their session to arrive. Not only are Emily and Brooke incredibly talented, they’re a ton of fun. Charlotte Branding Session for Hair & Makeup Artists
We started their session off at the Shutter Sisters Studio in downtown Concord. It was the perfect blank space for us to play and create one-of-a-kind images for Emily and Brooke. I’m absolutely obsessed with the pink backdrop we used. It’s just so much fun! We spent time gathering headshots of them together and individually, as well as action shots of them working. After we were done at the studio, we headed outside to work with Charlotte the Figgy! Charlotte the Figgy is a 1991 Japanese Nissan Figaro and it was so much fun to use her during these portraits. Emily and Brooke came out in some super dramatic blue gowns that looked great with Charlotte. It was a total change from our indoor work and I LOVED every minute of it. I’m just so excited about these and I can’t wait for Emily and Brooke to start using the images for their brand!
