I absolutely loved working with the Bernard family to update their family portraits this fall. I met Kristen through my BNI Networking Group and when she asked me to capture this session for them, I was overjoyed! She is such a sweet lady – and so is her entire family. Francis Beatty Park Family Portraits
When we were trying to decide on the perfect location for their portraits in Charlotte, NC, we eventually settled on Francis Beatty Park. This gorgeous park is one of my favorite spots in Charlotte. With a lake, gorgeous waterfront views, lots of trees, and even a site used for wedding days, it’s got a lot of variety! For Kristen’s family, we spent most of our time alongside the water. We were able to capture both the lake and the fall foliage around them, which was a total win-win!
Kristen brought her children, their dog, her husband, and a set of grandparents. I’m so happy that I got to meet everyone and work with them. They were all fantastic and just made the entire afternoon so much fun. Even their pup was well-behaved for me! I also LOVE the outfits they chose. Everyone got to bring a little of their personality to the portraits, and it all looked amazing together. Definitely an inspiration if you’re not sure what to wear for your family photos this year!!
