You may recognize Bob and Jenni from their incredible Disney World proposal (right by the castle!). Now, they’re husband and wife! They tied the knot this summer in a gorgeous OBX wedding day, right on the water. It was the perfect island wedding day, complete with a first look by Bodie Lighthouse and a reception by the beach house pool. I’m so happy for Bob and Jenni, both who are now sweet friends of mine – and I can’t wait for you to see their wedding day!
OBX Wedding on the Beach
Bob and Jenni planned a simple and fun wedding day on the beach. One of my favorite things of the whole day was the vintage beach details they prepared – including a fun postcard invitations. Jenni also made sure to include a pop of Disney in her details, with stunning Minnie earrings!! Jenni prepared at the beach house they were renting with their family and friends before meeting Bob for a first look at Bodie Lighthouse. It was absolutely perfect. His reaction was priceless and I’m so happy we were able to do their couple’s portraits there before the ceremony! Afterwards, we headed to the ceremony which took place on the beach right across from their incredible house rental.
For the reception, everyone gathered in the backyard and enjoyed the afternoon by the pool. It was simple and lots of fun! By the evening, some guests had even gone for a swim. Jenni and Bob decided instead of a traditional exit from the reception, they would jump in the pool. It was hilarious and so much fun to photograph.
I’m so, so happy for you and wish you a lifetime of love and happiness, Jenni and Bob!!
