I met the beautiful (and crazy talented!) Judith Bareham in my Queen City Connect networking group. It was there that we became friends and then, she asked me to capture updated branding portraits for her! I was so excited – I’ve never worked with a voiceover actor before, so I knew that it would be a lot of fun to capture her and her brand. Judith is an incredibly talented actress and we definitely had a blast capturing her portraits. I can’t wait for you to see them!!
Branding Portraits for Voiceover Actor
Judith has been living in the states for over 20 years, but she still has her beautiful British accent. While she was homeschooling her kids years ago after working on and off as an actress, she came to realize that the books and movies they worked with would be a lot more interesting if the person recording had fun with it all. From there, she began to determine how to make a living using her voice. Her voiceover brand was born shortly after! Judith has become known for her academic texts, museum guides, and book readings. She’s seriously amazing (go listen to samples here – and you can peek at how she’s using her new branding photos! Heart eyes!!).
For her session, we wanted to capture her both at work and in more relaxed setups. Most of the start of the session was held in her home – including at her desk and in her recording booth. It was a chance to really capture her doing what she does best. I love how those images came out. She looks like she’s having so much fun!! Afterwards, we captured more traditional headshots. I love, love, love that she had a scarf with the British flag on it, so we could bring some of her personality and what makes her unique to her portraits!
Judith, thank you for trusting me to tell your brand’s story. It was a great time working with you on these and I hope you love them, too!
