These beauties began their engagement session on Chalmers St. The cobblestone road brings the Charleston vision to life and we were all so excited to use them! Driving on them is a different story. 😉 I absolutely love photographing families and couples on Chalmers Street because it truly does give that Charleston vibe we all know and love. Not to mention, when you get off the cobblestone and onto the sidewalks, you have access to so many beautiful pastel homes and buildings! You want to talk about a Charleston vibe? That’s definitely it!
Chalmers Street: Downtown Charleston
Chalmers Street definitely gives such a romantic feel to portraits. It lends itself to a light and airy look, which I know so many of my couples love. Whether you just want portraits walking down the pastel homes or want to pose on those historic cobblestones, be sure to add Chalmers Street to your list of possible portrait locations!
What I love about these example portraits is that in just a matter of minutes, we were able to capture multiple looks around Chalmers Street. When we can really maximize the location we’re in, it allows us to have more time to explore the city and what’s near by during the rest of your session! Look at how quickly we can go from historic homes to streets, to even a park view with the trees. That’s what I love about this city and Chalmers Street, especially! The variety is to die for – a true photographer’s dream!
