When I think of the fall, I think of family portrait season. Everyone is excited to update their portraits for holiday cards and to share. And there’s something just so special about this time of year! With cozy temperatures, the sweaters and boots come out and everyone looks so warm and happy in their family photos. The Emerson family’s session just demonstrates everything I love about fall family portraits so clearly! Their Charlotte family portraits were a true joy to photograph and I’m excited to share them with you today!
Charlotte Family Portraits
Given the last year that we’ve all had, the Emerson family really wanted to make their portraits something to remember. And while they did that by simply showing up and having fun, we also made sure to include a few silly photos featuring some toilet paper to remind us all about 2020! I absolutely love when my families want to make their photos more than just standing together and smiling. After getting our “silly” photos out of the way, we dove into the more traditional family portraits. The Emerson kids are so sweet and they were amazing, making sure the session ran smoothly. I’m so appreciative of them! We captured some great individual portraits and headshots of every member of the family too before we wrapped up.
