I just adore the Allen family and I’m thrilled to be sharing their Holden Beach family photos with you today! I’ve known the Allen family for many, many years and every time they ask me to capture a session for them, I get so excited! They’re all basically family to me and I’m super grateful for how they’ve supported me over the years.
Holden Beach Family Photos
My brother-in-law’s dad was my Pastor throughout my entire childhood. One of his sons was in my class at school and so I grew up with the entire family, which was incredible. In fact, I introduced that son to his now wife – who I had met during a camp in New England. Now, they have two kids! I photographed his two sisters’ weddings and even did a Baby Bundle session with one of them. So when I say that the Allens are family, I really do mean it.
For their family session this year, we met at Holden Beach. They chose a gorgeous palette of blues and whites. I LOVE that no one was wearing the exact same thing and instead, they just stuck to one palette. Their outfits look SO good together and against the waterfront. With big family sessions, my goal is always to capture as many variations of the group as possible. This means full group shots, the grandparents and the babies, siblings, and each family individually. Extended family sessions are a great way to update everyone’s family photos without a super long or stressful session. There’s always so much happening!
To the Allen family, thank you again for trusting me with your memories. I loved seeing all of you and I’m sending so many hugs!!
