I absolutely adore Amanda and her son, Brody. When Amanda reached out to me about a mother/son session for her and Brody, I was so excited! We planned a sweet fall session right here in Charlotte, NC to capture their relationship. The fall colors weren’t quite out yet the day of their portraits, but that’s okay! We had a gorgeous day and lots of green leaves around us that made the perfect backdrop. Amanda and Brody were so sweet together our entire session. I’m still just so happy I got to photograph this special session!
Fall Charlotte Family Portraits
One thing I love about mom and me sessions is being able to focus solely on the relationship between a mom and her kid. Brody was such a good sport through the session, making my job easy and having a lot of fun with his mom. And Amanda is seriously a rockstar mom! I loved watching her with Brody. You can tell she truly puts her heart and soul into motherhood. Every moment of their fall Charlotte family portraits was just full of smiles, love, and laughs. What more could we ask for?!
After their session, they came to my studio for a reveal session. This is one of my favorite moments of any session with my families. My families get to see their portraits for the first time and decide which products they’d like to get to show off their gorgeous images. Amanda decided on some gallery boards and framed prints that I know are going to be beautiful. And with the holidays, she was smart and planned a few prints for family members, too. What a sweet idea!!!
