I absolutely love mini sessions! There’s something so fun about getting to see a lot of my favorite people in one day – all while updating their portraits. This year, my mini sessions were held at The Ivy Place, one of my all-time favorite spots for sessions. Right before Thanksgiving, some of my families and couples came by for new portraits. It was a chilly morning and a long day, but so so worth it! These Ivy Place mini sessions are so full of joy and love – I just had to share them with you!
The Ivy Place Mini Sessions
My sessions ran from 9am to 5pm at The Ivy Place this year. We setup a fun blue backdrop for everyone to pose by and it was just perfect – and so unique! But The Ivy Place also has some great natural locations including a spot by the house and in the gardens. The variety we were able to create in each gallery was amazing!! I love mini sessions because it’s such a great way to update your portraits without a lot of stress. I saw lots of young kids and dogs this year – and everyone was in such great moods. It honestly made my job SO easy!! Not to mention, all of my amazing clients showed up looking like models. Seriously, I don’t know what happened this year but everyone nailed their looks! So many cozy sweaters, cute accessories, and fun looks.
I’m so thankful to every family who chose to work with me this fall for their new portraits. I’m not lying when I say I really love mini session days. I always leave with my face hurting because I laughed and smiled so much – but it’s always absolutely worth it. Thank you for trusting me to capture your family.
