Newborn sessions are so fun for me! I’m excited that Jess and Daniel are going to be able to enjoy a beautiful heirloom album filled with maternity pictures while waiting for little Ashlyn to make her arrival and then photos of THIS SWEET BABY!!! Their sweet little girl was a joy to photograph. With those tiny little toes and the perfect little pink headbands, she looked so precious the entire session. Seriously, have I mentioned how much I love newborn photography?!

Newborn sessions are meant to capture your little one as they are in the first few days. Those squishy cheeks and little fingernails. The early days of being a parent go by so quickly – and without a lot of sleep. I never want you to forget what those days felt like. That’s why newborn photography matters so much to me. They’re a window to your baby’s story.
I want to know, if you’re a parent, did you have newborn portraits taken of your little one? I always encourage parents to create a heirloom album with their images to enjoy for years to come. Can’t you just imagine flipping through that album with your baby once they’ve grown?
