Anniversary Portraits for Sweet Friends
Friendship is such a gift to all of humanity. This is not new information to any of us, however, the convenience of companionship, community, and gathering with those we love is currently not the most recommended thing right now. Let’s say it how it is- this is a time of confusion, sadness, and depression for many who may live isolated from others. Feelings are real and it is important that we don’t dismiss them, however (as once told to me) it’s ok to let your feelings ride, but don’t let them drive!
So what can drive? For me, it is my hope in Christ, ultimately. When my hope is in Christ, I can view this time as a beautiful opportunity to reach out to those we love through facetime, and other tech avenues. We can still find ways to serve others in this time. We live in a blessed time in 2020 having so many options available to us for communicating with each other. So, when I had the chance to reconnect with Jennifer and Justin for their Lawrenceville anniversary session, I was pretty excited.
Lawrenceville Anniversary Session
Maybe this is why I am so thankful for friends like Jennifer and Austin. These two are the type of friends you want to have in your corner at a time like this (maybe not physically, because you know, social distancing). They exude optimism, selflessness, care for others, and an overwhelming heart for the things of God. You can see these virtues by how they verbally interact with others as well as how they conduct themselves within their marriage.
After four years, I was finally able to get these two in front of my camera and you can totally understand why I wanted them to be.
